Range Operations Manager
Provide direction and oversight to the Deputy Range Operations Manager regarding the management of the RTS Technical Facilities shop and assigned projects; Ensure proper coordination for the planning, as well as, effective and safe employment of all systems designated to support range operations; Participates in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of all system maintenance (preventive and corrective), system upgrades, and new systems installation to avoid conflicts with mission requirements; Gather customer requirements and general feedback, and report to senior management; Assist in the planning and coordination of long range operational projects to assure ability to meet mission requirements; availability of personnel and compatibility with other planned projects; Identify customer needs and maximize the application of solutions; Proactively work with department managers and others to assess their specific needs, and ensure the projects stays on task, on budget, and delivery occurs in a timely manner; Develop and manage budgets in support of Technical Facility Range Operations maintenance for RTS KREMS and Kwajalein Radars, Optics, Telemetry, Range Safety, Tech Control, Mission Data Network and IT Systems Operations; Provide input to the Annual Work Plan, and support the prioritization of work in this plan; Develop input to the Unfunded Requirements list and develop associated estimated costs; Support the Range with input and management of RTS vehicle requirements and status; Develop and implement procedures that provide day-to-day support in the operation of equipment for specific tasks or mission requirements; Continually assess equipment capability with regard to emerging customer requirements and develop Requirement Statements, when necessary, to ensure future mission success; Provide O&M technical support for engineering project development, design and integration; Act as a technical lead; mentoring team members on technical issues relative to Tech Facilities O&M; Monitor and review employee performance and administer guidelines and counseling to maintain a safe working environment and efficient customer support; Prepare and submit status reports and other technical reports such as Contract Data Requirement Listings (CDRL) within assigned deadlines.
Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality; effectiveness; and timeliness of task solutions, products and services; Monitor a constantly changing and evolving work environment; to timely meet short timelines, while balancing stringent contract requirements; Perform other duties as assigned.
SATCOM Technician I
Perform all aspects of satellite communications system operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance and logistical support, and follows all Quality Control (QC) guidance; Enforce quality control standards when performing electronic equipment installation, repair or modification; Perform or assist in the installation of new equipment and systems; Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair, replace, configure, and reconfigure a Defense Satellite Communications System and the following types of related or ancillary systems: Controller interfaces, analog to digital converters, fiber optic/copper interface systems, Timing systems, Satellite modems, Military standard/commercial interface converters, multiplexers, modulators and demodulators, frequency converters, transmitters (HPA’s and SSPA’s), low noise receivers, RF combiners and splitters, precision timing distribution systems, COMSEC devices, antenna control systems and subsystems; Activate, test, and maintain permanent and temporary circuits to support Reagan Test Site, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army Space Command, and Executive service communications; Respond and follow the operational directions from DISA and SATCOM Network Control Elements; Perform shift work, as SATCOM is a 24/7 operation; Perform other duties as assigned.
Manage and Lead a team of engineers/technicians and administrative personnel to perform the maintenance scope of work required for the ALTAIR radar
Manage systems engineering team and set goals/performance measurements; Oversee, measure and assess support for performance; Conceptualize, plan and support the execution of projects to increase efficiencies; Support all aspects of engineering efforts to support sustainment of the program; Integration, test and transition support of projects; Develop, deploy and oversee execution of engineering processes and procedures; Follow company standards and change management policies; Lead and direct requirements and architecture support; Lead deficiency and root cause analysis efforts; Provide leadership and guidance in engineering project prioritization and technology road map; Maintain customer relationships and provide presentations to the customer; Interface with Government oversite personnel and MIT technical advisors; Identify and resolve issues, and handle escalation and communication to management; Support Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) estimates for new sustainment projects and support proposal efforts on new development projects; Coordinate staff training on systems engineering processes as needed; Manage budgets in excess of 1.5M to meet company expectations.
Engineering Technician III
Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance for the ALTAIR radar antenna electro-mechanical systems; Observe, test, and evaluate complex radar electrical systems to diagnose and repair component failures; Perform maintenance, calibration, testing and modification of the antenna systems; Provide design inputs for equipment modifications and repairs; Provide support during design and implementation of improvement and modernization (I&M) projects involving servos and antenna subsystems; Assemble, wires and bench tests components and subassemblies; Install new equipment and provides technical input about system configuration and performance; Maintain current spare parts inventory and procures parts as required; Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance performed; Support day-to-day operations to meet radar mission requirements; Perform occasional shift work to support operational tasking; Provide design inputs for equipment modifications and repairs; Adhere to Company safety policies, procedures and program; Performs other related duties as assigned.
Senior Cybersecurity System Analyst
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Army-mandated information assurance requirements and security of the Reagan Test Site (RTS) networks; Responsible for implementation, management, operation and maintenance of Cyber Security tools on the RTS networks; Responsible for maintaining network accreditation, responding to information assurance taskings and IT security-related incidents, and for ensuring IAVA compliance; Lead IT security systems projects and provide input and direction from an IT security perspective; Provide subject matter expertise in the conduct of investigations, system designs; Develop action plans, inclusive of all project aspects, from inception to conclusion; Develop and implement comprehensive tracking and control procedures for identifying issues / areas of concern or non-compliance; Maintain a proactive stance to identify, circumvent, avoid and / or resolve issues and problems that create an adverse impact; Perform risk identification and analyses; Inform IT senior management of projects status and critical and / or outstanding issues that may affect business user / customer, or project timeframes; Recommend timely and appropriate response, solution or course of action to complex matters as appropriate within scope of responsibility; Develop and maintain policies, plans and processes that establish the IT security culture; Review change requests submitted to the IT Change Control Board; Review network scans to verify and ensure network security is maintained; Ensure systems are configured securely according to the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs); Test for compatibility and plan the integration of new elements to the network to include LAN/WAN components, software and hardware; Maintain and operate security monitoring auditing tools, such as HBSS/EPO, Tenable Security Center/ACAS/SCAP, LCE, QRadar, SPLUNK; Research and prepare studies and estimates for project proposals; Other duties as required or assigned.
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and upgrading the land and sea based missile flight safety systems located in the tropical Marshall Islands; The variety of systems includes RF, electronics, high power transmitters, antennas and pedestals, software, networks, processing and display computers, telemetry, communications, and facilities; Work with high power transmitters and other RF equipment, antennas, pedestals, electronics, test equipment, computers, and a variety of other technical equipment; Maintain, operate, improve, and document the systems primarily on the islands of Kwajalein and Roi-Namur, and may also support the systems on a ship as well; Periodically perform activities on towers and elevated structures using the proper PPE; Provide our customers support by contributing to preparation, planning, and/or mission execution; Lead and/or participate in troubleshooting efforts, fault detection, fault isolation, reporting, repair, testing, and documentation; Contribute to overseeing other tasks related to property, calibration, secure room, COMSEC, and other duties related to supporting the team and mission; Perform technical requirements analysis and capture; Perform RF link analysis, field strength calculations; Document data and signal flow across the systems; Provide support for RF Safety to include surveys, RF analysis, and incident investigation.
