Kwajalein Job Opportunities for 3/6/2021

Are you looking for a job on Kwajalein Island (a.k.a. Kwaj) or Roi-Namur Island at Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Kwaj Net scours the Internet and posts all of the new or updated jobs from the last couple of weeks.

Fire Inspector

The Fire Inspector plans, coordinates, and implements a comprehensive inspection program of all base facilities in assigned area to detect and eliminate hazards. Participate in other activities as needed in support of all phases of the Fire Department operations.

Events Coordinator

Under general supervision, the MWR Tech – Event Coordinator coordinates activities required to operate Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) facilities.

Lead Plumber

Performs skilled installation, maintenance, replacement, and repair of plumbing systems and equipment in a variety of buildings and facilities. Leads and assigns the work of other building maintenance personnel. Performs related work as required. Oversees other facilities maintenance personnel, depending upon the projects assigned. Carries out all duties in accordance with DynCorp International ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards.

EHS Manager

The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager works with site program management to maintain environmental, health, and safety programs, to include policies, processes, procedures, and controls. Ensures contract performance conforms to established standards and governmental agency guidelines, guaranteeing lasting customer satisfaction.

Vector Control Supv

The Vector Control Supervisor supervises a team of technicians that perform detection, prevention and control of mosquitoes, rodents and anything that transmits viral or parasitic disease.

Accounting Clerk I

The Accounting Clerk I provides general financial, clerical and accounting services to assigned department within the company. Assigned tasks generally performed under supervisory review.

Carpenter Supervisor

The Carpenter Supervisor is responsible for supervision of carpentry foremen, crews, and the overall successful completion of carpentry tasks in assigned area of responsibility.

HVAC Foreman

The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Foreman leads and participates in the installation, maintenance, modification, overhaul, service, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.

Journeyman Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician installs and maintains low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring. Installs feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations. Ensures that the material used and workmanship meets the requirements of the applicable technical and safety standards.

Operator IV

The Operator IV leads crews in operating and maintaining high voltage power generator single or multiple sets.

Production Control Tech
(Public Works Engineering/Planning)

The Production Control Technician provides support to development and administration of policy in land use, facility utilization and community development planning programs at USAKA/RTS.

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Vertical Lift

The Heavy Vehicle Mechanic performs repairs and maintains a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, heavy trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, container handlers, back-hoes, trenchers, loaders, graders, scrapers, compactors, dozers, skid steers, and associated equipment.

Stevedore Chief

The Stevedore Chief oversees all the operational activities in loading and unloading of ship’s cargo to ensure proper handling, safety, and security

Captain 1600T

The 1600 Ton Boat Captain, supervises assigned US Army vessels and crews in all matters, including training, safety, hiring and vessel maintenance.

Locksmith Lead

The Locksmith Lead installs, repairs, rebuilds, and service mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand tools and special equipment.

Firefighter

The Firefighter is responsible for protecting lives and property from fire by performing rescue and firefighting operations that involve fires, vehicle accidents, and natural disasters.
